Pron-Pillo - Prone (Face Down) Pillow Review

This pillow allows you to effectively sleep face down without having to tilt the head to the side.Many aspects of the design are ergonomic.One big advantage over similar pillows is that you can put your hands under the pillow or along the tapered head-end of it, which is good since keeping the arms along one's sides is not always comfortable even with this pillow.

The pillow has some significant disadvantages:
1) Most significantly, much force is placed on the face, even with the forehead cutout.It is difficult to use this pillow for 8 continuous hours.
2) Due to the laminated coating, the face perspires making it uncomfortable.
3) 2) above is compounded by pillow being too large to fit a pillow case on.

I'm not sure how well the pillow would hold up to long-term 8 hours a night use.

I would highly recommend this pillow for short-term applications, such as massage therapy, but, given all of the above, esp. 1) I have reservations about this unique pillow being used for regular sleeping.
