The Good: The fabric is definitely waterproof and does seem to control the allergens. The pillow protector is much better than the mattress protector because there are no seam issues or oversize issues with the pillow protector.The Bad: The Queen size mattress encasement has a seam running across the width of the bed! That seam is uncomfortable to my hip lying on it after a period of time, and I am a normal to skinny size person. My cover developed a rip in this mid-cover seam area after only a couple months. Clean Rest asked me to send it back to them before I can get another one under the warranty. So now I have to buy something else for the time I'll be out a cover. Also, we have a 9" deep mattress. The Queen size fits up to 15" deep, and they do not have another product for a shallower mattresss. Since the fabric is a silky texture, the extra fabric wrinkles up underneath you eventually, even if you initially tucked it under the mattress. It's made in China.
Update: I sent the encasement back to Clean Rest, and after some back and forth with customer service they finally honored their lifetime guarantee for a refund of money as was explicitly stated on the package.
The replacement mattress encasement that I bought from National Allergy is MUCH BETTER and made in USA.
