This European Sham is beautiful and looks fabulous on your bed with the Townhouse bedding. They are really big (square) and look magestic on your bed...just make sure that you buy a big enough sham stuffer to put in it or it will look horrible. I went an inch or two larger than what the sham measures and crammed it in the sham, so it's nice and full and stands up like it should. If you try putting a regular square pillow in it or a sham stuffer that is too small, it will look chintzy. The original price was outrageous (I can't remember what it was) and I would have never paid that much ... but ... I got mine on Amazon (brand new & perfect) for $29 each! I got a GRRRRREAT bargain!
The Croscill townhouse pattern has been discontinued so if you like this pattern, get it now! You can find items on ebay and a few other websites. Just search for "Croscill Townhouse"
As I mentioned in my other reviews on the decorative pillows, there is material in this pattern and can be found on ebay. Buy it and make your own shams and pillows..it will be much cheaper and especially now since they are unavailable)
BE VERY CAREFUL!!Croscill also made another bedding group in the pattern called DOVER MANOR. It looks like they are close enough to mix the two patterns together...THEY ARE NOT! The colors in the Dover Manor pattern are not as deep and rich as the Townhouse pattern. The Dover Manor looks cheaper. Don't be fooled and waste your money.
