AeroBed makes a wonderful beach mat. We use it regularly in Florida in winter: it is great because it keeps us from sitting or lying on the cold sand. Best of all, it does not attract sand and can be easily shaken clean.As a beach or camp mat, it needs to be about 3 or 4 inches wider. Arms and legs tend to flop over the edges. The carrying case also needs to have a larger diameter. It is a chore to roll the mat up tighly enough to fit!
In all, this is a high quality, durable product. We love it.
