I purchased this mattress, and was hoping for a very soft, almost pillow-like feel. After waiting for 1 1/2 days after opening for it to regain 11 inch height (it never did), I decided to go ahead and just try sleeping on it. It is definitely NOT a pillowtop. It looks like it, but it is not soft. This is a VERY firm mattress. I wake up with very sore shoulders every day from sleeping on it. Since I'm pregnant, I was really hoping for something a little more comforting.
