I have been diagnosed with dust mite allergies and advised to cover my mattress and box-spring.I am very satisfied with this item.I was concerned it would be like something from a hospital rather than a hotel.I am relieved that it is very much like the latter: satin, high quality, upscale.The installation instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow.The zipper goes all the way round which makes things easier - it certainly glides very smoothly. For all those like me who prefer to buy things made in the USA you will be as disappointed as I was to know that the tag says MADE IN CHINA.
Two negative comments: the warranty reads like a legal agreement - not sure they ever want (or are obligated) to honor their 10 year commitment. Also their literature says that only 70% of bed bugs live in the mattress - you could buy this product and still have other things to do to remedy your situation
