Alison White Eyelet Ruffled Pillow Sham Review

I ordered the white eyelet bedskirt and "matching" pillow shams.The bedskirt was exactly as I expected.The pillow shams were not.The package had a picture of the same bedskirt that I ordered, with a box checked 'SHAM."It contained shams that were a totally different eyelet pattern than the bedskirt. I could have lived with that, but they were dirty and had what looked like a heavy black pencil line around half of the hem.I tried laundering them, but the line did not come out.The shams are thin and flimsy as well; the ruffle hangs like a wet rag.I looked at the enclosed pictures again, expecting to see that these came from some Third World sweat-shop.There was a circle with Old Glory in it and some writing that said, "Crafted With Pride Made in The U.S.A." then the name Sanrich, Inc., Port Washington, N.Y. 10468.Oh, really?No wonder our economy is in the crapper if this is what the consumer is getting from America.Shame on you!

Wrap Around Dust Ruffle Review

I ordered this dust ruffle in part of the good reviews it received, but was very disappointed when it finally arrived. Aside from the flimsiness of the fabric, my major gripe is the darned thing won't stay put on the bed -- some part or another is always sliding up or down. Forget trying to make the bed. No amount of tucking seems to keep it in place.

It's on a standard queen bed with a rather thick mattress, but the depth of the mattress shouldn't matter. All in all, it looks better than a bare bed frame, but it's way too much work to keep it looking nice. Who needs a bed skirt that has a habit of wandering? Not me -- I like my linens to stay where I put them.
