It took some doing to find these medium weight 100% Egyptian cotton sheets.I found many sites I reviewed were misrepresenting true "Egyptian" cotton, 1000 TC, or 100% cotton.These were exactly what I ordered.Just wash them in hot water and add softner and you'll get unbeatable comfort.

1200-Thread-Count Egyptian Cotton 4PC 1200TC Bed Sheet Set, King, White Solid 1200 TC Review

I was very happy with the quality of these sheets. The fabric is more cottony than satiny which is what I like- more cozy. Also the elastic is just an open pocket and not finished like American sheets. I have an extra thick mattress, 19 inches or so, and the fitted sheet worked when it came out of the package. But after 2 washings in cold water, it no longer covers the mattress and there's not enough excess to use sheet grippers. If you have a regular size mattress these sheets are a great buy.
