I bought this to support my neck while watching movies in my lounger, and it's fine for that like most travel neck supports.Then, I grabbed it to support my head one day while taking a nap on the couch and discovered what a great nap pillow it makes!I love the thicker "bone" sides, as they keep my head in a straight position and prevent neck cramps.Some people will say it's too soft, some people will say it's too hard since such things are a personal preference issue.But for me, this is a perfect little pillow.
