This pillow is slightly less supple than most memory foam products I am have used in the past.However,it is still a very comfortable firm pillow.
Things to keep in mind with memory foam (pillows or mattress pads)
1.They have an smell that will dissipate with time. If you are sensitive to smells you may want to air out for a few days before putting it on you bed.
2.Memory foam products tend to ship in a rather `squished' state.This came rolled and in an air tight bag.Give it a few hours to return to its natural state.

Comfort Impressions Extra Support Memory Foam Gusseted Bed Pillow with White Quilted Cover Review

Not having $70 to spend on a pillow, I took a chance on this one when it was on sale. It's a decent pillow, especially for the price I paid. The memory foam center does give it more structure and support, but to a fault, which is my one complaint. Rather than having that delightful moment of sinking just the right amount into the pillow as I've experienced with my husband's nicer memory foam pillow (also firm), you sink through the gusset until you hit a hard core... and then you just stay there. Ultimately, the pillow did support my neck better, which is really important to me as I sleep on my side, and the gusseting made the pillow soft enough despite the unyielding core, so I give it 4 stars, though I'd have to rate it lower had I paid full price. One more note- it's extremely fluffy and wide, so while it is technically a standard size pillow, it will be a trial getting it into a narrower pillow case (the first case I tried was actually a king and it was too small- the length is normal, but the width is not).

I had a feeling "memory" foam pillows were going to be classified in two categories: Tempurpedic and "other".Almost all non Tempurpedic pillows I've felt have felt just like normal foam.But I have a Sleep Innovations/Novaform mattress with a layer of memory foam, and that layer of memory foam is high quality, almost Tempurpedic quality.Knowing that, I was hoping other companies would also have the higher quality memory foam. Of course there was a big warning sign in that the Novaform Memory Foam pillows also feel like normal foam.

Anyways, I saw this product and was impressed by the price.On sale, it's about 25% of the price of the Tempurpedic AND the "retail" price is the price of a Tempurpedic so I figured I would give it a try.

Well, don't believe the "original" price.The "original" price is a little more than a Tempurpedic but it's definitely not even close to Tempurpedic quality.The pillows aren't bad, but if you're expecting a pillow like a Tempurpedic,you're going to be disappointed.Go to any store that sells pillows and feel a non Tempurpedic pillow in the $30 range.That's basically what it feels like.Then imagine it being quite firm (as someone said) but I think it'll get softer as you use it more.I was kind of put off by how firm it was at first, but over the night, it got more comfortable.I can see some people not liking the firmness though.

The price is good, and the quality looks pretty good.I had no problems with any odor.In fact it didn't smell much even straight out of the package.

I bought this for my special someone, and she loves it.She has regular back and neck pain, and had struggled in the past to find a good pillow.

She had used down, cotton, firm, soft, and even put a rolled towel in the bottom of the pillowcase to provide support, but not until she used this pillow did she truly find comfort.

So, people seem to like the Pro/Con breakdown; here's mine:

Pros:
- Comfortable support for your head and neck
- Good quality cover, and fits easily into current pillowcases
- Two different-sized "contours" (small/large) to fit any size neck
- Great weight for pillowfights

Cons:
- Only one pillow (too small to share comfortably)
- Makes current pillows seem weak, awkward, and generally lame
- Devastating to lamps during pillowfights

I would recommend buying two of these pillows - so far, only buying one has been my only regret.
