I have been looking for a WATERPROOF mattress pad for some time.I wanted something that worked, but didn't want to pay a fortune for it.I've had several pads that either weren't really waterproof, fell apart after only one wash, etc.Anyway, decided to try this one out.I bought it from LinenSpa, but fulfilled by Amazon so that I could get the free shipping (LinenSpa Mattress Protector Deep Pocket 100% Waterproof & Dust Mite Protection, QUEEN).First off, for those of you wondering who manufacturers the pad ... it's Undercovers by MALOUF (malouffinelinens).Second, don't think you are getting a GREAT deal (a deal, but not a GREAT deal) ... this is no where near a $100+ mattress pad.Third, I'm not sure how much of a dust or mite barrier the pad really is since it only covers the top part of the mattress.The pad does appear that it will protect the mattress against a toddler's nighttime accidents (which is why I bought it) and stand up to hot water washings (although, I don't know for sure).The pad went on easy, fits securely, and feels nice (terry towel on top and kind of a rubbery texture on bottom ... not bulky at all).I still put a waterproof pad Basic Comfort Handy's Mattress Pad by Summer Infant over the sheet to make changes quick and easy (especially at night).So far, I am happy with my purchase.I will update this review after I've had the pad for a little while.Click Here to see more reviews about: Universal Depth LinenSpa Mattress Protector 100% Waterproof & Dust Mite Protection
