Pillow Decor - Herringbone Green Rectangular Decorative Throw Pillow Review

The product arrived within 11 days but I was surprised and disappointed with the quality of fabric -- less so the Herringbone Green than the Teal Thai Silk pillows. Without being in direct sunlight, they discolored within 6 days. The fabric is scratchy and feels cheap. When I requested a return, the customer service person was argumentative but gave me an RMA number. After three weeks of not seeing a refund (which included hefty deduction for restocking, repaying their original postage for sending to you (if you bought enough from them to get free shipping), and paying to return the items), they lost the RMA items. So for returning a poor quality $59 pillow, I got a refund of approximately $15, which is more than the pillow is worth anyway. I would recommend that people do not extend business to them unless you know exactly what you are purchasing without reservation and plan to keep it or give it away even if you do not like the item. The company is very interested in getting your money and depleting their inventory under any circumstances to your disadvantage.

Croscill Townhouse Fashion Pillow Review

Unlike the previous reviewer, whom I totally disagree with, I love the Townhouse pattern. I think it is very elegant and classy looking.

Regarding the pillow...

The pillow is gorgeous and well made...very thick (lots of stuffing)
Arrived quickly boxed and wrapped in a plastic bag for protection.

My only problem is the price. The mark-up on these pillows is as bad as the mark-up on jewelry. Croscill has sold the material in the Townhouse pattern...if you can find the material, buy it and make your own pillows! You can usually find it on ebay, just do a search for "croscill townhouse"

But if you have the Croscill Townhouse bedding, this pillow pulls it all together because the Euro shams are the only thing that has the dots on it.

ASIN B000SMSI7M - How does one review a pillow?Better, a throw pillow?There seems like there's so little to say about a pillow... so I'll tell you what I know.

They are a decent price, at 20 bucks for an item with such a misleading name.I bought these at the same time I bought Toss Pillows Set of 2 - Burgundy and think these are a better deal.They're not quite silk.The Product Description even says "Made from a blend of silk and polyester." - not pure silk, so the product name earns them a strike for intentionally misleading the buyer.

They're overstuffed and, because they're at least partly silk, they're far too slippery to serve as anything more than décor.The zipper on the back is covered by a flap of fabric, a nice touch.The fabric needs to be hand washed, which is certainly a step above "Dry Clean Only" and will save you a few bucks.The zipper is located about 1/3 of the way from the top of the pillow, so inserting and removing the fill is a minor struggle, particularly because the 18x18 pillow comes with 20x20 fill.Once you get the hang of it, though, it's smooth sailing.
