I bought this pillow because I kept waking up with neck pain. I'm not that old but realized that something about my old pillow just wasn't helping me out. The best part about this pillow is that it has a depression in the center with the outer ring being raised up to support your neck.I sleep in all positions and the pillow has been great no matter what.The outer ring could be a little more firm, but the hypo-allergenic quality balances this out.
