Even though listed as medium weight, the comforter is light. It has provided excellent warmth during some of the coldest nighrs this winter. We had been using two and even three blankets before receiving this one. We have retired the others--the Pinzon alone provides all the warmth we need. This is a first-rate product and I highly recommend it.
