I love my pile of old down/feather pillows -- but, bless 'em, they were shedding and I was sneezing and menopause had me soaking them through almost every night. Old, and rather spendy, pillow protectors didn't help. So I bought four of these pillow protectors over a year ago, cleaned the pillows and stuffed them inside the new protectors.Side zipper makes that soooo much easier than for protectors with end-openings.No feathers in the bedding now, pillows stay clean, my stuffy nose cleared up, and -- wonderful bonus! -- the silky texture of the protector can be felt through a pillowcase.Lov

Crypton Aloba Pillow Cover Review

I have tried many different waterproof bedding products over the years. Technically they say it's water resistant. Every water barrier product I have tried can leak at the seams so be warned about that. This fabric is so soft and comfortable that I have slept on it without a pillowcase. I tested it's water resistance. It came through with flying colors with only the vulnerability on the seams. Worth every penny to provide a clean hygienic sleeping surface and protect your bed from spills, kids or pets.

Allersoft 100-Percent Cotton Dust Mite & Allergy Control Pillow Encasement Review

These covers are excellent! I have terrible allergies and recently purchased these to help with my symptoms. These covers don't have the synthetic crinkle you get with the cheaper covers. Sleeping soundly is worth the extra little investment.
