I suffer from terrible migraines, I recently found out that I suffer from allergies{dust mites}.
So I ordered the sleep safe bed bug, dust mite and allergen proof mattress, box spring cover and pillow case covers. I ordered the wrong depth for the mattress cover and the gave a hssels free exchange, they shipped the new one out before the recieved the wrong one back. I was worried how it would feel something under the sheet, but you don't even notice it there. I would strongly recommend this product for any allergies.

Rest Right Aller-Ease Deluxe Pillow Cover with Dupont HMT Review

I purchased this pillow cover because it blocked out the most allergens (including mold, pet dander and other things). Most pillow covers just block out dust mites.
I was a bit concerned that because the pillow cover was woven so tightly and had the Dupont material that it would be very uncomfortable - more like a plastic pillow case than a fabric one.
I was very pleasantly surprised that it had none of the drawbacks I imagined. Not only does the pillow case work great to reduce allergies and is really easy to wash in the machine, it has a very soft feel perfect for pillows. The fabric is thick, but feels more like really expensive sheets than plastic. I have a very flat pillow so I can't really attest to the whether it flattens, but the pillow case is really not noticeable at all - besides it's allergen-barrier benefits!

Every water barrier product I have tried can leak at the seams so be warned about that. This fabric is so soft and comfortable that I have slept on it without a pillowcase. Newpoint Terry Waterproof Pillow Protector Pairs Review

I took a chance on this product and ordered, even though the description is less than compelling. I had needed waterproof pillow covers for my kids, but hate the cheap plasticky ones and didn't want to spend more on a cover than the pillow was worth. These pillows covers (and yes, although the description is not entirely clear, there are 2 covers included in the package) have a soft terry exterior and a lightweight vinyl interior. They are a little noisy to sleep on, thanks to the vinyl, but that's the compromise you have to make to get a waterproof cover. The terry cloth exterior does help to muffle the sound, however. Overall, I'm pleased with the value and seeming quality of the product.

These pillow covers seem to have 2 layers to them: the inner layer against the pillow is an extremely thin plastic layer that is presumably the allergen barrier, and the layer on top of it is like a super super thin gauze, exactly like an airplane pillow cover, that almost feels like it could be paper. They were fine for a few months, we cover them over with cotton pillow cases anyway, but I've noticed that they have started trapping little balls of something, like dust or grease or something, in between the layers. All in all, they do their job of keeping dust and allergens away, but in the future I think I may spend a few more dollars to get one that's thicker plastic and more of a waterproof+allergen barrier type, rather than this. But if you're really pressed for money, these are fine.

I washed these cases before using as instructed on the packaging.It said to dry on medium heat, which I did for only about 5 minutes and when I took them out of the dryer, they were all crumpled.The plastic on the inside had melted!
