I bought this pillow because, after my 3rd back surgery, I needed one pillow for when I lay on my back AND when I lay on my side. This is it! The memory foam makes it firm, and the size is perfect. When laying on my back, it fits perfectly under my knees; when laying on my side, it creates the exact amount of space needed between my knees to keep my spine aligned.
